The Mapplate Manager

Mapplate^TM comes with a Java based management tool (the Mapplate Manager ) that can be used to (re-)configure the way the map component should look like: the position, visibility and transparency of buttons and other functional components can be defined with this easy-to-use tool (see below for a more detailed description).

For the more experienced GIS developers, the Mapplate Manager can be used to add or link custom code to the functional components of the application (e.g. add routing capabilities, integrate complex queries, reporting tools or print tools, etc... )

The examples below illustrate the different steps to set up a simple map application without complex programming. Using the Mapplate Manager, the graphical user interface can be set very quickly and changed during the development phase without having to restart part of the development track.
